It's essential that you submit only your own material to GamesNet.  It must be material that you yourself wrote, or for which you own the copyright.  We cannot accept, and will hold you fully liable and responsible if you submit, any material that violated copyright, other intellectual property, or privacy laws and regulations.

If we accept your submission (whether it was for compensation or otherwise), you agree to transfer the copyrights and all related rights and benefits in that submission to GamesNet or its agents. You may make a limited number of copies of that work for your personal use, for archival purposes, or for any other purpose that doesn't involve distribution to others.

Translation: If you submit something to us and we accept it, then we own it.  You no longer have any rights to reprint or resell it, except that you can make a few copies for your personal use and your records.

Either one of the following will constitute our acceptance of your article:

  1. We inform you by email, post, telephone, in person, or through some other channel or medium that we have accepted your submission.
  2. We post your submission on our site.

If you're the copyright owner of a work that was previously published elsewhere and you would like us to reprint the material, we may be able to do that.  First, we need to establish that you are in fact the copyright holder, or have the authority to reprint the article.  Once that's done, we'll evaluate the article as a free article (as listed above) and choose whether to post it.  We cannot offer compensation for articles that are not original and unpublished.

If you wish to establish some sort of cross-licensing and reprint agreement between your site and GamesNet, please contact the WebMaster with your offer.  We would be happy to consider all offers, including co-branding or cross-linking.
